sanctioned team the opportunity to participate in ASA Invitational /
Championship events.

borders a Metro area's county(ies) may now choose in which area to

| National Qualifier |
A tournament for each
age division offered in each of the 15 regions as defined by the ASA
Code. The winner of a National Qualifier earns a berth to an
USA/ASA Girls Class "A" Fastpitch National Championships. Any
team in good standing from any area may participate. Any team that has
won a berth may now compete in an ASA National Qualifier without
losing their berth. They cannot win a second berth. The next
highest finishing team, should a team with a berth win the
tournament, will earn the berth to the ASA/USA National
Championships. |
| Regional National
Qualifier |
Region #10 host's two
Regional National Qualifiers in all age division in the Class "A"
program and three in the Class "B" program. Only teams from Region
#10 may earn the single berth awarded at each event for each age division. The
winner of the "A" division will earn a berth to either the ASA/USA
National Championships or the ASA (Northern) National Championships. The
winner of the "B" Division will earn a berth to the Eastern National
Championships. |

Metro Cincinnati, Metro Chicago and the States of Indiana, Illinois
and Kentucky. |

ASA Roster |
Also called ASA
Official Waiver & Release of Liability & Indemnification form.
Required for all Championship play. Deadline to have your ASA
Roster signed - prior to a National Qualifier or one day prior to
the City Youth Championships if you are a member of the Metro
Cincinnati JO ASA program. |
| Championship Play |
Any tournament that
when won will award the team a berth to the next level of
competition. Ie: Metro City Youth Tournament, Regional National
Qualifiers, National Qualifiers, Hall of Fame Qualifier and National
Championships in both the USA/ASA and ASA classes. |
| Photo ID |
A required
identification form - or form of ID required for all Championship
play. May be required for participation at invitational events
as well. Said "ID" must have the players signature
as well as a current photo attached.
